The Santa Monica Museum of Flying, formerly the Douglas Museum and Library was one of our more interesting builds. Interesting, becuase it was a hangar that was not going to exist on an active taxiway. At the same time, the building required bi-fold doors and the capacity to house several aircraft. The museum, which can be visited by the public 7 days a week, eclusively features the Argubright Construction Bi-Fold doors, and is a welcome stop for anyone who visits Santa Monica Airport.

"One of the most unique aspects of the Santa Monica Museum of Flying is the cockpit of the Fedex 707, which physically allows attendees the chance to look out at the runway and experience the thought of actually taking off on a flight. Althought unique in design, this is still one of my favorite builds." - Steve Argubright
